I am writing to you to ask for your support. On October 16th I will be participating in PancreasBowl, a fundraising event for the National Pancreas Foundation (NPF). PancreasBowl is the National Pancreas Foundation’s signature national fundraiser. Patients, family members, caregivers and medical professionals across America come together to bowl, have fun and raise money to support the National Pancreas Foundation. (www.pancreasfoundation.org) NPF is the only foundation dedicated to patients who are suffering from all forms of pancreas disease – pancreatic cancer, pediatric pancreatitis, adult pancreatitis and FCS Syndrome. NPF is one of the most efficient charities in the country, with over 93 cents of every dollar going to research and patient programs. I have committed to raise a minimum of $100 for PancreasBowl to allow NPF to continue to fund groundbreaking research and patient programs.
